This web site has no direct relationship with PcSoft, is not endorsed by it and has no rights commercial or otherwise on the WinDev product...

If you want first hand information on the product, please contact PcSoft

So why talk about it? Because I'm using the WinDev product professionally, and I have been doing so since it's version 1.5 (currently in version 10)...

I co-wrote the first independent book ever published on the subject (le Guide du Développeur WinDev), created the original web site that become later WinDasso.com, helped create the association of WinDev developers and became it's first president...

you will find here the solution of problems that I encountered during all these years, thoughts on subjects I like (or subjects I had to explore), etc., etc...

You will also finds links to helpful WinDev resources...

WARNING: Some of the files below are describing problems that you can encounter when using WinDev but this site is NOT intended as a critic of the WinDev tool or of PCSoft... I have used a lot of develoment tools in my career, and I always found bugs or quircks (however you want to call them) in them... I have used WinDev from it's version 1.5 to it's version 12 and I firmly intend to continue to use it... Each version was better than the previous one, and in each of them I found new problems... You just need to know them in order not be bugged by them... So if you are one of the lunatics that are spending their time raving against WinDev or PCSoft, please DON'T contact me... You will not find a sympathetic ear with me.
